Client-Certified Deliverables Protocol (CCDP)

A compliance-grade protocol for agency deliverables that require client approval, version authority, and evidence-backed certification.

This protocol is defined and maintained by Finalmark as a reference standard for client-certified deliverables.

1. Standard scope

The Client-Certified Deliverables Protocol (CCDP) defines when a deliverable becomes official, how authority is established, and how proof is recorded. It is designed for client approvals inside the Finalmark Client Portal.

2. Official deliverable definition

  • Only the client-approved version in the Client Portal is official.
  • Exactly one submitted version can be approved at a time.
  • Official deliverables include an evidence-backed certification payload.

3. Disqualifiers (not official)

  • Email, chat, or verbal approvals do not create official deliverables.
  • PDF sign-offs or internal confirmations without portal approval are not official.
  • Draft snapshots, previews, and redlines are never official deliverables.

4. Approval and authority

Client approval is the sole authority for certification. The approved version is locked as the system of record and becomes the only client-certified deliverable.

5. Certification payload

Certification is a structured payload that proves when, how, and by whom a deliverable was approved. See the certification payload for the evidence elements and approval rules.

6. Adoption path

Adopt the protocol by routing client approvals through the portal. Start with the demo portal or request access for a live workspace.
